Due to an upcoming resignation, we are seeking applicants as follows:

CLASSIFICATION; ELECTED OFFICIAL- 4 YR TERM
SALARY; PURSUANT TO THE OHIO REVISED CODE
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES;
The Fiscal Officer is an elected official and is independent of the Trustees, yet by law the township fiscal officer must work closely with the trustees. Must be able to keep an accurate record of all townships accounts and transactions, comply with the legal requirements set for the Fiscal Officer's duties, recording accurately the proceedings of the Board of Trustees i.e. keeping the minutes (ORC 507.04) plus other ministerial duties. Issues checks and prepares payroll and all associated functions (tax reporting and deposits). As approved by Trustees, and before being filed , the official bonds of elected officials shall be done and recorded by the Fiscal Officer. Works with Board of Elections, prosecutor in township matters, deposit funds and liaison to others for trustees.

The Medina County Solid Waste District has placed 4 recycling bins at our
Maintenance Garage located at 6539 Avon Lake Road. These are for "Single Stream" recycling
which allows you to place all your recyclable items mixed together in one bin.

Bicentennial Planning Committee
Chatham Township was founded in 1818. We have formed a committee to plan events
for the upcoming bicentennial in 2018. If you are interested in helping plan this historic milestone,
please consider attending our next meeting on Thursday Sept.8,7PM in the Community Center gymnasium.

Family Movie Night is OUTDOORS! On Saturday September 17th, The Community Center will be featuring
"Zootopia". Admission is FREE! Concessions open at 8:30 offering hot dogs, popcorn, refreshments and misc. snacks.
Movie will be shown at dusk. If the weather is uncooperative, alternate location will be the gymnasium. Bring your favorite chairs & blankets for an evening your whole family will enjoy!
We have clothes, house wares, toys, furniture etc. Thrift room is open during most events at
the Community Center. Our volunteers will accept monetary "free will donations" for these goods.
The proceeds are used to purchase food, refreshments, maintenance items etc. used at the Community Center.
Have leftover items from your garage or yard sale? We accept all useable items!

"Friends of the CTCC" a volunteer group whose efforts make the Community Center and its many events possible Anniversary, Retirement, Birthday and Graduation Parties
